Officiel : L'entraîneur Fabien Mercadal écarté !

Dans un communiqué, le Tours Football Club annonce avoir écarté Fabien Mercadal de ses responsabilités d'entraîneur de l'équipe professionnelle. Ce dernier paye le mauvais résultat hier à Bourg-en-Bresse et surtout la place de lanterne rouge.

L'entraîneur des U17, Nourredine El Ouardani, va occuper l'intérim.

Le club tourangeau se déplace dès mardi à Strasbourg (18h30) pour un match en retard diablement important.

Ce jour, le TFC a déchargé provisoirement de ses fonctions Fabien MERCADAL. La Direction du club l'en a informé ce midi et l'a communiqué aux joueurs avant l'entrainement de l'après-midi.

C'est Nourredine EL OUARDANI, entraineur depuis 4 ans du Centre de Formation du TFC, qui assurera l'intérim. Le club, persuadé de la qualité de son groupe professionnel, compte sur le soutien de tous pour gagner la bataille difficile du maintien qui s'engage sur le dernier tiers du championnat de Domino's Ligue 2.

Il est un peu tard pour remplacer ce coach qui fait défaut à l'équipe depuis son arrivée. En effet la plupart d'entre nous avions remarqué que sa communication et son inexpérience tiraient déjà l'équipe vers le bas, montrant de facto un réel décalage avec la norme des entraineurs professionnels. Nous ne pouvons lui en vouloir car quelqu'un du club a été le chercher dans le Pas de Calais. En effet il fallait répondre aux vraisemblables exigences du président qui n'est pas capable d'apprécier le niveau d'implication et le caractère des techniciens de L1/L2. Nous payons donc, notamment les départs de Pantaloni et Simoné qui, excusez du peu, ont sauvé le club de la relégation. La suite nous la connaissons avec un coach pas au niveau et un président capable du meilleur pour sortir le TFC de l'ornière administrative et financière (merci à lui), mais très mauvais en ne pouvant s'accorder avec les coach, sans omettre les embrouilles avec la municipalité et autres journalistes sans oublier le pétage de plomb a fin de match contre Niort. Le président qui semble être un honnête homme , n'est pas, à mon sens, à sa place et préparé pour le monde du foot qui semble être un marigot. Il est donc urgent pour lui de prendre du recul et faire le choix de finir le travail ou de trouver un repreneur. Pour revenir au sujet Nourredine, il arrive donc pour une pige de un ou deux matchs, le temps pour le club de trouver un entraineur disponible. Mais ne sera t'il pas déjà trop tard, car une nouvelle défaite à Strasbourg pourrait couler définitivement l'équipe qui doit maintenant gamberger. Attendons donc mardi soir qui sera alors révélateur de son état d'esprit. Bon courage !!

Domi je tiens à corriger quelques informations F. Mercadal savait très bien où il mettait les pieds le feuilleton du TFC était largement diffusé par les médias<br /> Ses adjoints actuels étaient arrivés avant lui, il n'était donc pas entouré des adjoints de Marco... mais par contre il n'a pas eu une attitude très fair play envers eux. C'est le revers du bâton, je lui souhaite de méditer fortement sur ce qu'il vient de se passer pour la suite de sa carrière.

Mr Mercadal n'a sans doute pas du (ou pas pu) insuffler la confiance aux joueurs (voir les effondrements de l'équipe contre Amiens et contre Bourg) mais il n'est vraisemblablement pas le seul responsable du marasme actuel. L'un des problèmes du TFC c'est son instabilité depuis 3 saisons. Les erreurs cumulées vont se payer au prix d'une peu glorieuse relégation. Après qu'adviendra-t-il du football professionnel à Tours, that is the question ?
